Engine Feature
1. MTU 2000 and 4000 series engine launched in early 1997. 
Series 4000, is the world's first application of CRDI ie Common rail fuel injection system technology for large diesel engines.


2. ADEC controller collects and self-diagnoises the main engine parameters while operation, leading to complete combustion by the highly advanced electronic fuel injection. This technology ensures that MTU engine has the best fuel consumption efficiency, quickest start-up with No smoke, and load pickup with cold start performance.


3. The fuel economy and environmental performance outshine others in the world, Overhaul period up to 30000 hours, far outshines other diesel engine 10000 to 20000 hours. Engine control system also provide a fault diagnosis and fault code display for accurate and quick troubleshooting.


4. MTU S2000 is available in both Air to air cooled type aftercooler configuration and air to water cooled aftercooler . Series 4000 engine: use 2 pump 2 loop cooling.


5. MTU2000 and 4000 series engine emissions comply to German TA LUFT standard, the 
California Air Resources board CARB, US environment protection Bureau EPA and EURO  
environmental protection standard II.
